Information
The CarryCard
System combines a planner-style zippered case, a holster, and a
magazine case or cartridge slide. The planner-based
mode of off-the-body concealed carry is an excellent choice for
many situations and offers significant advantages over the fanny
pack or ankle holster.
The
holster and other accessories in each system are securely mounted
on a patented CarryCard by PSC Systems. Each CarryCard
model is uniquely shaped to lock into its planner case and to provide
a "hardpoint" on which to mount the other elements of
the system. Each CarryCard provides mounting elements
for a specific holster and other accessories. The holsters
that are employed in CarryCard systems are not of the one-size-fits-all
variety. Each one was designed to support a specific
set of handguns andwith very few exceptionseach CarryCard
System is suitable for any handgun for which the designated holster
is appropriate.
The holster
and accessories of each system may be mounted or dismounted with
a single motion. When dismounted, they may be employedas
they were originally designed to beas a hip holster or accessory
case on your belt or as an inside-the-waistband holster. Regular
concealed carry demands a range of equipment that will allow you
to respond effectively to widely varying circumstances.
Anyone who holds
a permitor who is otherwise authorizedto carry a firearm
incurs some serious responsibilities. The CarryCard
System is not a gun safe. The system is designed to
let you secure the zipper tab in the closed position with a luggage
lock. When locked in this manner, the system provides
some protection against the merely curious, but not against an assault
by someone who is willing and able to destroy the case.
The CarryCard
System is designed to make your licensed concealed carry of a substantial
handgun convenient under circumstances in which relying on a belt
holster or shoulder holster is not appropriate. Circumstances
of dress ("Casual Fridays" at work) or of your physical
environment (summer temperatures) present obstacles to the more
common on-the-body modes of concealed carry. All too
often, people decide to "leave it in the car" in the face
of those constraints. With your CarryCard System you don't
need a coat or jacket. With this system you retain
all of your options. You can easily alternate between
carry modes using only the elements of your system.
