Does PSC Systems support the holsters and other accessories of manufacturers other than Uncle Mike's®? Not today. The holsters, spare magazine cases, and handgun cartridge slides in the Uncle Mike's® line are well-made, very reasonably priced, and readily available. You can find them at your local gun store or through the catalog companies that specialize in products for the shooting sports. I've always enjoyed doing business with Midsouth Shooters Supply Company in Clarksville, Tennessee (www.midsouthshooterssupply.com). One of the strong points of the patented CarryCard™ system is the fact that you can easily and inexpensively replace any element of your system. With some of the planner-like systems on the market today, if you damage one part, you have to jury-rig a repair or discard the whole package. If you would like to have us produce a custom CarryCard™ to fit a favorite combination that we don't currently support, just send us an e-mail with the particulars of your ideal CarryCard™ system. We'll try to help. Can I use any zipper planner case to create a CarryCard™ system? Each CarryCard™ series is designed to work with a commonly used -- but specific -- zippered planner/notebook case format. Any CarryCard™ in the Model 2 series (currently 2A through 2G) fits securely into a zipper planner case with (1) external dimensions of 87/8" and 61/4", (2) a removable ring binder assembly mounted on a card, and (3) an interior pocket that is 81/4" wide and 41/2" deep into which the ring binder's card inserts. Some planners that have all of those characteristics are the Cambridge® model 45483, the It's Academic® Model 65420, the Mead® models 50840, 50866, and 50194. The Model 3A CarryCard™ fits into a slightly larger zipper case (101/2" by 63/4") that was originally designed to hold a wirebound notebook. Mead's® Model 33578 Zippered Notefolio is an example. |
